Forum & History PBWiki

Chat with other members, post photos, and more at the Manchu Light Fighter Group page at Yahoo (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/manchulightfighters).  This group is access-controlled.  Just visit the site and click on the "Join This Group!" button.

I set up this group because it's an easy way to allow fellow Manchus to post photos and chat with one another, without having to build that all into this website.

We also have a new PBWiki that allows members to contribute to our History section.  A PBWiki is an easy-to-use, free-form, web-based application that will allow you to collaborate with other people without needing to have programming skills. Nothing to learn and nothing do download or install.

On a PBWiki, any visitor with the site's password can edit any page on the site. Our site is a public PBWiki which can be read by the public; however you will need the password in order to make any changes to the pages.

Edits are done in plain text and don't require learning fancy or complex codes like HTML. Just start typing! It's also easy to create new pages and make links to pages you've already made.

It's really simple to use PBWiki (https://manchulightfighters.pbwiki.com), but before you get started you should become more familiar with exactly what a "wiki" is. Please visit http://tour.pbwiki.com.

Since so many of you have e-mailed me with recommended corrections to our history I figured this would be a great way to proceed for now.

While you are free to add pages to our PBWiki, the primary purpose of this site is to provide a place for members to contribute to, change and update to our history section. Go the site, enter the password, click on the "All Pages" button, and look for the link to "History of the 9th Infantry Regiment (Light) 1985-1995".

If you would like access to our History PBWiki please send me an e-mail and provide me with some idea of the kind of contribution you have in mind.
